The event began with martial arts performances, including demonstrations of children’s Five-Form Spear, youth’s Double hand sword, Yang-style Tai Chi, Fixed-Posture Palm, Bagua Old Eight Palm, Tai Chi Push Hands, Eight-Sided Palm, Tai Chi Fan, youth’s Five-Form Spear, Wu-style Tai Chi Sword, Chen-style Tai Chi Sword, Bagua deer horns, and Short pole. The program was very rich and diverse.
After the performances, Master Gao Feng delivered a speech to celebrate the Lunar New Year, expressing gratitude to the students for their support and wishing them progress and good health in the new year. Master Gao also presented volunteer commemorative gifts to students who have provided various services to Wujitang for a long time, followed by everyone enjoying delicious dinner together.
During the banquet, there were games and activities, and students shared the benefits of practicing martial arts at Wujitang. Both former and new students spoke about the positive impacts on their physical well-being. One particularly inspiring story came from a student residing in Seattle, USA, who, after only four months of training, noticed significant improvements in his health, motivating him to travel from the United States to practice at Wujitang every week.
The atmosphere throughout the evening was lively, and everyone left in high spirits, celebrating the occasion.
